Have you read the talk session article “Which one is going to win?”
The following is a comment that Zenta Nishida, an associate editor for the magazine “Casa Brutus”, made in this past article.
As in Nishida’s comment, Gugi Akiyama, known to us as Akki, lives in a house designed by Jun Aoki, in a quiet neiborhood in Tokyo.
His house is published in a book titled “G“, a work done by photographer Takashi Honma.
A house just right to do some shooting!
The idea for this photo shoot came from Akki himself.
We did some photo shoots with his wife wearing Jun Aoki’s design, and his daughter Chiyoko wearing Akki’s t-shirt MounT-FUJI.
A whole collaboration of t-shirts and Jun Aoki’s architecture!

It’s a design that well represents Aoki’s work. Simple, but has a surprise. I think the stitches in the back is very likely of Aoki, his sense in design is highlighted in it. |

If I were to buy some myself, I would buy Stefan Sagmeister’s t-shirt, and also Oded Ezer’s t-shirt. They’re both just simply cool. Oh, and Kam Tang’s t-shirt is really cute too. |

A friend of a friend bought my t-shirts for his parents who engage in farming. It’s really great to think about people who farm wearing a t-shirt of Mount Fuji. It makes me really happy. |

Akki and his wife watched their daughter as she frolics around, delighted to wear a t-shirt that her father designed.

The comedians of Yoshimoto Kogyo became our first team to model for the t-shirts. We had a total of 49 members wearing the t-shirts!

Have you ever heard of “HYPE”, a futsul event?
8 futsul teams of you comedians of Yoshimoto Kogyo are competing in a futsul tournament! That sounds just right for the team models we’ve been looking for!
We went to their soccer match and had all the young comedians of the 8 teams wear our T-1 t-shirts, a total of 49 people!
We’re not sure whether the picture gives you a good idea of how the t-shirts will look when worn… But check out the photos!

Fairly high in their average age, but their strength is their strong physical skill and high performance, despite the unhealthy comedian life they live.
Karasu (Crow)
Organized by the highly potential members of the Tokyo Yoshimoto. Their hometown is “Yume Koenji”, and is one of the strongest team among the league.

The team color, “green”.
The team slogan, “Make our fans happy”.
Happy
The happiest futsul team in Japan, just like the name of the team.
Lady Boys
Two gay comedians are the core members, LOVE ME DO and Karika Yashiro. With help from the “2 chome” (Tokyo’s gay district) family, the team has some brilliant game records.
CICAGO BULL
The goalkeeper even goes offence. Full member attack is the slogan. Their rival, the Karasu.
Bets
Their money and time goes to long distance transportation on the bus, since many of the members are from Osaka. Tetsuo from Waraimeshi has joined as a member today!
Fubo (Mom and Dad)
Punch Hamazaki headhunted the members from other teams, and created this team “Fubo” (Mom and Dad)
The pride our father gave us, the nurturance our mothers gave us…
How do you like the photos?
Too much action by the models? Can’t really see in detail how the t-shirts look when worn?
Well… we will be taking photos of 9 teams in total, so we’re sure there’ll be photos where you can see in more detail, how the t-shirts actually look.
By the way, the next “Hype” is scheduled on July 20th (Thu).
