Born in 1971, Seoul Korea.
Established the creative new media group, Atom Interactive, Inc in 2001 with other two partners and working for GUI and Interactive storytelling design with Samsung, Korea Telecom, and SK, etc..
And teaching Interactive motion graphics in the Kaywon School of art and design in Korea during 6 years.I'm working as a designer for clients but often making exhibition and interesting playground for my passion as a creativer and artist.I'm Invited from Sapin for exhibition [ing Project-mobile art] so will make an exhibition in Sapin in May.

What did you have in mind when creating your T-1 T-shirt design?
Ma Eum = Heart.
'Ma Eum' means "Heart" in Korean. (Kokoro in Japanese)
I visualized Korean Character "Ma eum" to blooming flowers image.
When I need some ideas for project, I usually read my pocket books and diary.
I found some doodle that I wrote long time ago on my diary.
"a blooming heart"
I don't remember why I wrote that words, but wanted to draw that expression to visual.
And I wondered how I was feeling at that time.
Did I feel sad at that time? or...happy?
Was my heart blooming for someone? Or.. was someone's heart blooming for me?
To imagine and express my lost thoughts was interesting to me.
What sort of places or situations will best fit your t-shirt design, do you think?
Actually anywhere, any people, anything fit my t-shirt design.
Ordinary is best for my t-shirt!
Has your final T-shirt design turned out the same as you initially imagined it would?
Nothing special process!!
I just thought and thought about ﾒblooming heartﾓ during visualize my words.
And expressed Ma Eum to blooming flowers.

When you were designing your T-1 T-shirt, how did the process compare with your normal work?
Final output is different to my normal work. But I think process is same.
Usually I'm designing for clients.
When I work for clients, I always think that 'communication' is most important thing in my design. I wanted to communicate many other people by my T-shirts.

I'm in Spain now for exhibition.
My design studio, ATOM Interactive has an exhibition [-ing Project] at Barcelona.
[-ing Project] is for mobile art. We had an exhibition at Seoul last year.
And we plan to have this relay exhibition in Sapporo and Tokyo, too.
