Born in Mie Prefecture, 1940.
Graduated from Department of Oil Painting at Tama Art University in 1964. Worked as an in-house cover designer for Heibon Punch magazine until 1971, and became independent from 1972. Major advertisement works include Mitsui Bank,
Tokyo Gas, and Pink House.
Ohashi is a pioneer at opening up a new world centered on illustration, such as essays and product development; she magically changes everyday life into something precious and cute. From 2002, she is the publisher of gArneh, a quarterly magazine. Most of the articles are done by her, and she sells the magazines directly to bookstores. Inspired by her sincere attitude towards bookmaking and distinguished insight, the readers eagerly await each issue.
Ohashi is also the author of gOshare wa Daiji yoh, gKurashi no Ichi-nichi Ichi-nichih, gFutsuu no Oishiih,
gHibi ga Taisetsuh, (all published by Magazine House) and many other publications.

Anytime, anywhere./No particular place or situation.

Has your final T-shirt design turned out the same as you initially imagined it would?

I wanted to make the whole t-shirt wave patterned, but since the rules for T-1 was that "print size should be within 380mm by 400mm", I made it smaller.

When you were designing your T-1 T-shirt, how did the process compare with your normal work?

No different from my usual work.
