New York (which is not part of the usa)

What did you have in mind when creating your T-1 T-shirt design?

The typography still carries everything John Lennon stood for. It's a bit shaky, iit is questioning the status quo, it is anti war. In the last nationwide election, Mr. Bush only got 18% of the vote in Manhattan.

What sort of places or situations will best fit your T-shirt design, do you think?

This will work around the world.

Has your final T-shirt design turned out the same as you initially imagined it would?

Well, my favorite version would still include the black neck, just like Lennon's shirt did.

When you were designing your T-1 T-shirt, how did the process compare with your normal work?

Please give your T-shirt a name.

Peace from New York

Please give us a message to all the people who visit the website, to spark their interest in your T-shirt.

Why don't we do it in the road, pam, pam, pam

Are there any countries that you'd like to travel, if you had the chance and time?

Syria

Are there any people, things, happenings, that have especially influenced you?

Far too many to mention, if I need to single out one, I would say Tibor Kalman.
I jjust found a letter I wrote to him when I found out he is going to close M&co. when he got to be too sick to run it:

Steven Heller told me. I cant say I did'nt expect it, I had just put it off into the future, thinking good old Tibor isnt doing so well at the moment but he'll be around for a long time.
It makes me very sad.
You know it anyways, but still: You were an incredible influence on my life and my work. Before I went to Hong Kong you told me: "Just dont go and fucking spend the money that the ad agencies pay you. If you do, you'll be their whore forever".
I didnt spend it, remained free and got a nice New York apartment out of it.
Before I opened the studio your advice was: "The toughest thing is not to grow. Everthing else is easy." Turned out true too.
Only you could blow such a large amount of smoke up my ass in your last note. Thanks.
Well, I surely send you lots of love, you'll be in my heart and mind forever, you incredibly strong man.

What do you want most? Anything?

Do good work for people I admire and causes/products/services that have a reason to be in this world.

Is there anything that you recommend us to check out? Any items, events, etc?

James Turrel's Skye Scape at PS 1 in Queens, New York.

Who would make you most pleased if they were to wear your T-shirt?
